Selection of papers
is based on a list of criteria, which include originality, new development
orientation, mill operating experiences and technical relevance. To be
included in the program, a commitment is needed by the end of March 2008 by indicating: Title of Paper; Abstract; Authors name(s) and
Affiliation; and Paper Presenter with contact information. Exceptions to this can only be granted by prior
approval of the program chair below.
Please do not send completed papers at this time. You will be advised in February if your submission is accepted for presentation at Jasper 2008 together with PAPTAC rules for format, quality of material and length and publication rights.
Papers and their presentation will be judged, with awards in a number of different categories including the HR MacMillan Eagle Trophy for Best Technical Paper. Presentations only are acceptable, but will not be eligible for awards. Please note that the time limit for presentations is 20 minutes. In addition, each speaker is allowed 5 minutes for questions and answers.
