CALL FOR PAPERS 2012

                "Sustainability through People and Technology"

Selection of papers is based on several criteria, including originality, technical and mill relevance, and support of the chosen theme. To be included in the program, a commitment is needed by the end of March 2012. Required information at this time includes the paper title, an abstract, author's name(s) and affiliation; and the name of the paper presenter with contact information. Exceptions to this can only be granted by prior approval of the program chair.

Please do not send completed papers at this time. You will be advised in March if your submission is accepted for presentation at Jasper 2012, together with PAPTAC rules for format, quality of material and length and publication rights.

Papers and their presentation will be judged, with awards in a number of different categories:

• Best Technical Paper (mill paper) ~ HR MacMillan Trophy
• Runner-Up for full length paper (open to consultants and researchers)
• Best Supplier Paper
• Best Novice Paper

Presentations only (without paper) are acceptable, but will not be eligible for awards. Please note that the time limit for presentations is 20 minutes. In addition, each speaker is allowed 5 minutes for questions and answers.
